Directors of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) agreed Monday to partner with the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce in a promotional effort for the community.The action came during a regular joint meeting of the LEDC and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP) directors.The LEDC will pay $2,500 and the Chamber of Commerce will pay $2,500 for Lamesa to be featured with an upcoming “hometown spotlight” by KCBD television station in Lubbock.The station will air feature stories and advertisements focusing on Lamesa in conjunction with the city’s upcoming Chicken Fried Steak Festival, which is scheduled for April 29-May 1 at Forrest ...
