Steven Cain Lara recently graduated from Texas Tech University with a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences. He has been accepted to The University of Texas at Houston School of Public Health where he will be working towards his PhD. Cain is the son of George Lara Jr. and Ami Lara of Midland. He is the grandson of Randy and Terry Goolsby of Lamesa, George Lara Sr. of Midland, and the late Maria Lara; and the greatgrandson of Janice York of Lamesa.
