This Sunday people will need to move their clocks one hour ahead as part of Daylight Savings Time.The time change will hav more of a direct impact on the operating hours of the city’s landfill.Beginning Monday, the landfill will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.“We’ll close at 6 p.m. instead of 5,” said Robert Ramirez, director of sanitation, parks and streets departments.The landfill will also be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. every Saturday.“Those will be our summer hours,” Ramirez said.“There’s more daylight time where people are allowed to come a little bit later ...
