Students from both the Lamesa High School and Klondike High School FFA programs brought home honors from the Texas FFA Convention in Fort Worth last week. Hanna Meeks, who will be a senior at Lamesa High School, captured seventh place at the state level in the Soil Stewardship Public Speaking contest. Meeks had advanced to the state competition by placing first in both the Mesa District and Area II contests earlier this year.
