Changes and improvements underway with the Gifted and Talented (GT) program in the Lamesa school system were among the items discussed during the school board’s regular meeting last Thursday. Doug Morris, District Behavior Coordinator and Director of Federal and Special Programs, was put in charge of the GT program earlier this year, Superintendent Jim Knight said. “The program does a lot of wonderful things and sets kids up for success,” Morris told the board.
