It is not every day that school district representatives get a pat on the back from an institution of higher learning. But that’s what happened to Lamesa Independent School District (LISD) when the West Texas A&M University (WT&M) in Canyon sent a letter last week congratulating LISD for its dedication and commitment to student excellence.
