After almost three decades in practice here, Dr. Craig Cowan is packing up his vast Star Wars collection, his University of Texas sports memorabilia, family photos and newspaper clippings, and files and heading to Abilene to continue his work in dentistry.He and his wife, Jill, selected Abilene as their new home since it’s between where their two children live.Their daughter, Emma, a 2015 Lamesa High School (LHS) graduate, currently works as a registered nurse for a cardiac clinic in San Antonio.
