Lamesa’s Boys and Girls Club Lake was stocked Thursday with 2,000 catchable-size rainbow trout for the benefit of local anglers. It was the second such stocking this winter through a cooperative effort of the local Wilton Foundation and the Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Inland Fisheries Division. During the course of the two stockings, 3,000 fish were provided by the Wilton Foundation and the remaining 1,000 by Texas Parks and Wildlife.
