Thousands of pancakes and hundreds of pounds of sausage and bacon will be served up next Saturday when the Lamesa Kiwanis Club hosts its annual Pancake Supper. This will be the 69th year for the highly-anticipated event, which in recent years has drawn a crowd of some 800-900 people over a four-hour period. Advance tickets are now on sale from Kiwanis members at $5 each and may be obtained at the door for $6 each. Serving will begin at 4 p.m. and run through 8 p.m. at the Lamesa High School cafeteria.
