Lamesa’s annual Independence Day Celebration “started off great and ended great,” Chamber President Sandra Adams told the Press-Reporter on Friday. There were some low attendance numbers for some of the day’s events, but overall officials with the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce felt those who did attend and participate had an enjoyable holiday. “I feel like the event started off great with the huge parade.
