SNYDER- The first baby born in Scurry County at Cogdell Memorial Hospital was Blakely Dominguez.Blakely made her introduction to the world at 1:36 p.m., Jan. 3. She weighed six pounds and three ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth.She is the daughter of Elizabeth and Marie Dominguez.Her maternal grandparents are Carroll and Wade Spencer of Abilene.
