Local officials are in the midst of an effort to help business owners and operators reduce the likelihood that their operations could be impacted by fire. That is being done by conducting inspections to ensure the businesses are meeting fire codes. Those unscheduled inspections are being conducted by Fire Marshal Levi Roberts and Assistant Fire Marshal Kevin Henricks.
