SEMINOLE – Wintery weather with temperatures dipping down into the low 20s on Jan. 26, along with humidity at 96-percent, were responsible for slick roadways and many accidents last Wednesday in Gaines County.Sheriff Ronny Pipkin and dispatch received seven calls related to weather accidents on Jan. 26, and Emergency Medical Services Director Carly French reported the same.“We had seven calls in 1.5 hours, resulting in all four ambulances being out on the road.
