A Lamesa family of five has been displaced from their home but apparently escaped without injury from a fire which heavily damaged the residence Sunday morning.According to a report filed by Captain Jason Wiley with the Lamesa Fire Department, a fire alarm alerted the family of Bianca and Joe Garza to the blaze about 8 a.m.The Garzas reportedly purchased the residence at 2011 South 2nd St. only a few months ago.Fire officials believe the blaze, which caused an estimated $100,000 in damage, may have started with an automobile which was parked under a carport at the house.Wiley reported the homeowner ...
