For the first time since COVID-19 arrived in town last March, Medical Arts Hospital (MAH) has accepted its first out-of-town coronavirus patient. The unnamed patient arrived Tuesday after being transferred from a Levelland hospital. “They were full and could not accept this patient and they contacted us and asked if we would accept COVID care, and we said absolutely,” said Letha Stokes, MAH chief executive officer.
