With no contested race, the May 6 election for three spots on the Dawson County Hospital District won’t be happening.Board members on Tuesday accepted certification of unopposed candidates before voting to cancel the spring election.Only the three incumbents had filed for the three positions up for election.Board President David Sanderson will keep his Precinct 1 seat.
