The second in a six-week series of “Backyard Homesteading” classes, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Dawson County, is being held Monday from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Lee Roy Colgan Building at 901 S. Houston Street.Hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service the Dawson County, the classes are offered each Monday through Oct. 24.Several classes will focus on raising chickens.
