Law enforcement officials from several agencies gathered Tuesday morning in Eden to dedicate portions of highways in the memory of two Concho County Sheriff’s deputies who lost their lives in the line of duty almost three years ago.The Deputy Samuel Leonard Memorial Highway sign, located on both sides of U.S. Hwy. 87 at Eden’s city limits to the Concho and Tom Green county lines, honors the Concho County Sheriff’s deputy who once served here as a Dawson County Sheriff’s Office deputy.The other sign, located on FM 765 from the Mc-Culloch County Line to the Tom Green County line, was dedicated ...
