High winds which kicked up a powerful sand storm across Dawson County on Sunday, resulted in a power outage for not only the O’Donnell school district, but also for the entire town.A transformer supplying electrical services to the community apparently was blown down during the storm. It took ONCOR workers until late Monday to replace the damaged equipment.“It was out all day on Monday.
