With seven cases of measles confirmed in Texas, as of Feb. 7, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) has issued a Measles Health Alert for the state. The measles cases have been confirmed in five counties with six cases in southeast Texas and one in central Texas. Those counties are Montgomery, Harris, Galveston, Bell and Denton.
