STANTON – Martin County has experienced three earthquakes in the last 10 days, all within a mile radius, and a total of 11 earthquakes measuring greater than 2.5 magnitude in the last year.Geologists suggest oil field disposals are the culprits, and it just so happens the most recent earthquakes are centered around a saltwater disposal site near the intersection of Hwy. 176 and FM 3033.
