Mesa Underground Water Conservation District (Mesa UWCD) members canceled their May 4 election Wednesday due to a lack of contesting races and swore in a new member.Newly appointed member Kevin Furlow was sworn into office. He will finish out former board member Al Crisp’s unexpired term.He was appointed to finish out Crisp’s term in January. Crisp’s term ends in May.
