Friday is the deadline to donate gifts and other items to be distributed through the Lights of Love program to be given to children of needy families in Dawson County at Christmas time. Donations of new gifts for children from birth through age 18 may be placed in tubs at the following locations: State National Bank, Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, West Texas Graphics, McCall’s by Julie, both locations of Dollar General, Pedroza’s, Dawson County Public Library, Howard College, The Studio on Main, and First United Bank.
