ANDREWS - A familiar face helped deliver the first doses of Pfizer vaccine received by Andrews County. Former Permian Regional Medical Center (PRMC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Russell Tippin personally brought the vaccine to Andrews from Odessa on Monday. Odessa’s Medical Center Hospital (MCH), where Tippin now serves as CEO, provided 500 doses of its weekly vaccine allotment to PRMC. Tippin said MCH is distributing portions of its allotments to area rural hospitals. Monday’s delivery to PRMC put MCH over 2,000 doses deployed “into regional partners,” according to Tippin.
