Local restaurant and catering business Follow The Smoke will cater the 100-year anniversary banquet of the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber Banquet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, beginning at 5:30 p.m., at the Forrest Park Community Center. Pitmaster John Cortez and his wife, Lucinda, will provide the meal for the guests at the banquet. That meal will consist of hickory smoked pork with bacon aioli sauce, baked potato casserole, brussels sprouts with bacon, and salad with a choice of dressing.
