Lamesa school board members are conducting two back-to-back meetings Thursday.They will convene at 5 p.m. for a workshop session and again at 6 p.m. for their regular meeting in the district’s Central Office, located at 212 N. Houston.In the workshop session, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Ron McBee will focus on the district’s finances.The board will discuss the 2022-2023 budget, the reduction in the budget due to loss of student enrollment, and outlays for capital items from grants.They will also focus discussions on the 2023-2024 budget’s projected estimated revenue, staff contracts for the next academic year, pending state legislation impacting salaries,
