The filing of candidates for places of service with three local governmental entities is continuing on weekdays until Feb. 15. The City of Lamesa, Lamesa ISD and Dawson County Hospital District all will hold elections on May 4. At least one place each on the school board and hospital board will have a new representative this year, since those current board members have announced they will not seek re-election.
