This year’s Chicken Fried Steak Festival will include the 10th annual team roping events at the Lamesa Rodeo Arena.The three-day festival on April 29-May 1 features a cook-off, live music, children’s activities, athletic competitions, a pet costume contest and other activities.Team roping was part of the usual activities celebrating Lamesa as the birth of a Texas staple.
