Local residents can get an early taste of Thanksgiving this coming weekend through a fundraiser event planned by Lamesa High School’s chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.The organization will be hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner on Sunday, Nov. 6, at Pedroza’s Restaurant, 1501 Lubbock Hwy.Meals, either for dine-in or carry-out, will be served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.The meal will include roasted turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, bread, dessert and a drink.
