Howard College is scheduling the necessary classes and course work for students interested in becoming Certifi ed Nursing Assistants (CNA). The class is on a fast track schedule, lasting only 13 days.The CNA classes, starting in December, will give students the skills and knowledge they need to provide basic care for residents of long-term care facilities.They’ll learn about residents’ rights, communication and safety, observation and reporting; and assisting residents with maintaining their every day needs and health care.Before starting the program, students must undergo a background check and pass a drug screen.
