A matching effort between local and state Farm Bureau officials that drew additional support here has resulted in a total of $4,000 being distributed this past week to programs which help feed people in Dawson County. Representatives of the Dawson County Farm Bureau and Texas Farm Bureau Insurance distributed checks on Tuesday of $1,500 to the Feed One Food Bank, $1,500 to the Lamesa Boys and Girls Club Meal Program, and $1,000 to the Dawson County Senior Citizens Center’s Meals on Wheels program.
