Pam Koehler is sad to see a little bit of Lamesa’s past disappear, but it was time to let the old Eiland Lumber Company building go.The building, a one-story white stucco and wooden structure with high ceilings and a Golden Tornado painting at 402 N. Dallas Ave., is set to be demolished after being sold Thursday to new owner, Jordan Addison.“I will miss it terribly; if nothing more than driving by and having terrific memories,” Koehler said.The building has been in the family for five generations.
