Thanks in part to state funding aimed at boosting emergency medical services (EMS) in rural Texas, Medical Arts Hospital will soon be hosting an Emergency Medical Tecnnician (EMT) class.Classes, to be held each Monday and Wednesday, will begin April 17 and run through Aug. 2.The class sessions will be held electronically via Zoom on Monday nights and inperson at the Medical Arts Hospital Community Room on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 10 p.m.Medical Arts Hospital EMC Director John Busby said they are hoping to get at least 10 people, not only from Lamesa but the surrounding area as well, to participate ...
