BROWNFIELD – Last weekend’s election results were determined, but then in a shocking turn of events an error was made and the results were temporarily revoked.The elections office realized that 59 votes from the Meadow Early Voting Polling Place were not counted and added to the election night totals. In a county this size, 59 votes can easily determine an election.Upon realizing the error the office immediately called the Secretary of State, Meadow Independent School District superintendent, the City of Meadow secretary, county judge and county attorney to inform them of the errors.The elections office is currently working with the ...
