Sentences totaling more than 50 years behind bars were ordered for eight different individuals in separate cases handled in 106th District Court here recently with Judge Reed Filley presiding. Handed a pair of 12-year terms in the Texas prison system was 31-year-old Ashley Monica Brown. Brown pleaded guilty to two separate charges alleging manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Those charges alleged she possessed, with intent to deliver, more than four grams of methamphetamine on April 20, 2018 and again on June 13, 2018.
