Dawson County voters can cast their ballots early for the March 5 primary races beginning Tuesday.The early voting period ends March 1.Voters will choose among contested races which Republic or Democratic candidates will face each other in the Nov. 5 general election.Voters can only vote for candidates running on the Republican or Democratic tickets; not both.The ballot contains candidates seeking the presidential office, U.S. senator, railroad commissioner, several judicial seats and Dawson County elected positions.There are no Democrat candidates running for county offices.Early voting begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the county elections office, located ...
