A Memorial Day service will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. this Friday at the Premier Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM of Lamesa dealership located at 1611 Lubbock Hwy.The service will precede actual Memorial Day, which is Monday.The 45-minute service will recognize Gold Star families, the relatives of U.S. military personnel who lost their lives in war.Benny Guerrero, commander of Post 2466 Texas Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lubbock, will serve as the service’s moderator.
