STANTON – Residents from all four corners of Martin County and everywhere in between converged in Stanton Wednesday to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The Martin County Hospital District set up a drive-thru vaccination clinic at the Stanton High School baseball field parking lot and were prepared to handle more than 700 people between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Before the clinic had opened, more than 100 vehicles had lined up and stretched from the baseball field all the way back to the Interstate 20 overpass.
