Permits for two horizontal oil drilling operations southwest of Lamesa were issued recently by the Texas Railroad Commission.Reliance Energy of Midland plans to drill the Jack Rabbit Special 28-33 No. 1DN at a location about a mile west of the Klondike Baptist Church.The drilling site will be located about 150 yards south of FM 828.
