Dawson school board members on Monday extended the superintendent’s contract and approved an extension of emergency COVID-19 sick leave for employees. During their regular monthly meeting the board conducted an evaluation of Superintendent Layne Sheets and agreed to extend his contract for an additional year, to 2024. They approved an annual salary of $107,000 for Sheets.
