Jesse Galdean, a former principal at Lamesa Middle School, has been hired as the next principal for the Dawson school system in Welch. Dawson school board members hired both Galdean and a new athletic director in addition to approving a new scholarship fund during a special called meeting Monday evening. “We are very excited to have Galdean coming to Dawson,” Superintendent Layne Sheets told the Press-Reporter.
