Dawson school board members are scheduled Monday to consider accepting the resignation of Superintendent Layne Sheets. Sheets has served as superintendent at the school in Welch for the past two years. Personnel items dominate the agenda for the board’s regular meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. in the board room at the school. Board members are slated to consider any other resignations, a contract for the agriculture science teacher, openings and staff assignments for the 2021-2022 school year, hiring of new professional employees, and teacher contracts.
