Dawson County currently has almost as many active COVID cases as the other four counties combined in the South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD).That’s according to the weekly update issued by SPPHD Executive Director Zach Holbrooks.As of Wednesday there were 30 active COVID cases reported among residents of Dawson County.That is up from 24 cases the previous week but just below the weekly average of almost 33 cases during the past month.The total number of active cases across the entire fivecounty health district was at 65 this past Wednesday, just below the 66 total cases reported the previous week.Active cases ...
