Dawson County 4-H members head to state

A trio of Dawson County 4-H members are advancing to state competition after placing high with their educational presentations at the district level.Brothers Karson Schmidt and Korbin Schmidt qualifi ed for state after teaming up for a Safety and Injury Prevention presentation which won first place at the county level and first in district competition.Younger brother Kelton Schmidt competed in Poetry Prose, placing first at the county level and second at district to qualify for state.The state contest will be held at the Texas 4-H Roundup slated for June 5-8 at Texas A&M University in College Station.Another local 4-H member,
