Lamesa Cub Scout Pack 722 defended its district title for the Quanah Parker District Raingutter Regatta Boat Races for the 13th year last Saturday. The racers were divided into two divisions: the Lions, Tigers, and Wolves; as well as the Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light. In the Lions, Tigers, and Wolves division, Micah Howard of Lamesa placed first, Ian Dominguez of Denver City placed second, and Gabriel Galana of Denver City placed third.
