The South Plains Public Health District (SPPHD) is hosting two local COVID-19 vaccination clinic this month for those interested in getting inoculated against the coronavirus.Residents can receive the vaccinations at the Lamesa Health Department at 503 S. 1st Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. this coming Friday and on Sept. 27.Local residents should call SPPHD’s Brownfield office at 806-318-2367 to make an appointment. The call will allow nurses to know how much vaccine they need for the clinic. Patients can also notify medical staff if they have a vaccine preference.
