COVID causes restrictions on city facilities

The number of deaths here related to COVID-19 remains unchanged but the case count continues to steadily climb, according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District. Dawson County’s total case count was at 851 as of this past Monday, the district website showed on Wednesday morning.  The report shows 276 local residents currently have active cases of the virus.
