COVID cases continue to increase

While the number of active COVID-19 cases here continues to increase, the percentage of local residents who are fully vaccinated against the virus has risen little during the past six weeks. With five new cases confirmed since Friday, the South Plains Public Health District reported 12 active cases among Dawson County residents as of Monday evening.
