SEMINOLE - In a press release last week, Governor Greg Abbott announced the Center for Disease Control (CDC) had made an initial allotment of over 1.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to Texas for December. According to Seminole Memorial Hospital District Chief Executive Officer Larry Gray, two pharmaceutical companies - Pfizer and Moderna - have requested Emergency Use Authorization from the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) for their COVID-19 vaccine.
