An O’Donnell-area couple is dead and their three children remain hospitalized in Lubbock following a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon. Funeral services are pending for 31-year-old Johan B. Bergen and his wife, 22-year-old Sara Bergen. Their three children, ranging in age from 1 to 5, were reported to be in stable condition on Monday at University Medical Center in Lubbock. “It was very tough,” Lamesa Fire Chief Larry Duyck said of the crash encountered by first responders who rushed to the scene from three different counties.
